Missouri Health Professional Loan Repayment Program
The Missouri State Loan Repayment Program provides loan repayment assistance to primary care physicians and dentists who agree to practice in a Health Professional Shortage Area. Eligibility?
In order to qualify for the Missouri Health Professional Loan Repayment Program, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen
- Missouri Resident
- Licensed to Practice in Missouri
- Maintains Qualifying EMployment
- Agree to work in HPSA for 2 years
- Provide Primary Care to General Population

- Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC)
- FQHC look-a-likes
- Rural Health Clinics
- Hospital-Affiliated Primary Care Clinics
- Free Clinics
- Private Practice
- School-Based-Clinics

What is the award amount?
Through the Missouri Health Professional Loan Repayment Program, applicants may be able to get up to $50,000 towards their student loans in return for 2 years of service in a Health Professional Shortage Area.
