Through the Massachusetts Student Loan Forgiveness Program qualifying applicants in the healthcare field may be able to qualify for up to $50,000 in student loan forgiveness. Continue reading to see how you can qualify for this program.

Eligibility?

This program provides educational loan repayment to primary health care professionals as an incentive to practice in communities with barriers to access.

What is the award amount?

You may receive up to $25,000 per year and up to $50,000 total for 2 years if you’re eligible. Your profession will determine your award amount.

What loans qualify for this program?

For the Massachusetts Student Loan Forgiveness Program, the following loans are eligible for student loan forgiveness:

  • Stafford loans
  • Grad PLUS loans
  • Consolidation loans
  • Perkins loans
  • Private loans
